Qualifications
The Parish Life Administrator should have good communication skills to greet callers and welcome visitors to the parish offices. He/she should be competent with the following computer programs: Microsoft Word and Excel, Parish Data base system, Calendar Wiz, and other programs as needed. Further competency is needed regarding emailing, web browsing, data entry and similar functions. The person should be able to prioritize responsibilities and fulfill tasks in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Answer all phone calls and greet all visitors to the Parish Office
· Open, review and respond to Parish email requests.
· Receive, sort and distribute mail.
· Type, prepare, produce parish correspondence and documents
· Assist with maintaining the Church and Parish Schedules
· Order and maintain office supplies.
· Order and maintain Church supplies.2
· Collect time sheets from staff members.
Parish Communications
· Mail Sunday Bulletins to homebound.
· Prepare and distribute special parish mailings (stewardship).
· Assist with maintaining parish records and files.
· Retrieve, print and mail tax donations for parish members.
· Assist with the completion of the Pastoral Report.
· Prepare Mass announcements and Intention for Sunday Mass.
Financial Donation and Processing
· Record and process weekly donations.
· Receive, record and acknowledge memorial donations.
· Acknowledge donations according to parish procedures.
Sacramental Records and Certificates
· Maintain Mass intention book
· Prepare and record Announced Mass Cards.
· Prepare Baptismal, Confirmation, and Marriage Certificates from parish records.
· Prepare Letters of Eligibility for Sponsorship (Baptism and Confirmation).
Maintain schedules for Baptisms, Pre Jordan and Funerals
· Schedule Sacrament of Baptism
· Schedule Pre Jordan Class
· Coordinate the schedule of Funerals
· Coordinate and assign volunteers.
Safe Environment
· Update and maintain all Safe Environment Clearances for volunteers and staff
· Complete Pastor’s Report in June.
Work Situation
1. Maintains a regular schedule of forty (35) hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
2. Provided with adequate workspace.
3. Compensation and benefits are arranged separately.

d. A person called to ministry.
